Baran Güler is currently a PhD student and research assistant in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Middle East Technical University. Also, he has been a member of Solid Mechanics and Metal Forming Lab since February 2014. He obtained his BSc degree at METU in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Prior to starting graduate program, he worked at Akbank as System Development Assistant Manager. He conducts his research in the field of lightweight metal deformation and experimental solid mechanics.
